Top 5 Hottest Female Olympians of All Time

I'm not a big Olympics fan, and think many events are ridiculous, but it's hard not to notice Marta Menegatti (left) or Louise Hazel (right).  It made a colleague and I wonder who the best looking female Olympians have been, and what they look like today--unfortunately, I couldn't find pics of most of them today, so here's just history's best looking female Olympians (not counting 2012); let's see if you agree.

5: Kristi Yamaguchi (U.S. figure skater, 1992) - She skated into our hearts with her sweet smile and sweeter demeanor, but she also had knock-out skater legs, and luckily, hers escaped the wrath of Tonya Harding.  Honestly, it was a toss-up between her and Nancy Kerrigan for the 5 spot on the list.  In the end, I had to go with my gut.

4: Svetlana Khorkina (Russian gymnast, 1996, 2000, 2004) - Svetlana was a skinny, awkward kid in 1996, but by her final Olympic appearance, she had blossomed into the gorgeous model in the picture above.  She also did gymnastics or something.  In searching for this post, I came across a few NSFW pics of her which I won't link here, but which should be easy enough for you to find if you care to.

3: Lindsey Vonn (U.S. skier - 2002, 2006, 2010) - She looks super-cute, has a bright, cheery smile, and, well, just look at the picture on the right.  She makes me feel downright patriotic!

2: Sonja Henie (Norwegian figure skater, 1928, 1932, 1936) - There's a bias that guys have against finding older generations of women attractive.  Maybe it's because men picture the women as they are now; maybe it's something else--I'm here to tell you that bias is wrong.  Sonja Henie would have been 100 this year, but back in her twenties she was one of the hottest women on the planet.

1: Alina Kabaeva (Russian rhythmic gymnast, 2000, 2004) - I had never heard of Alina before researching this post, but now, I don't understand how she isn't wildly famous.  Not only is she easy to look at, but she also serves in the Russian parliament, and allegedly was engaged to former Russian President Vladimir Putin. I don't know if that makes her sexier or a little bit gross, but it's impressive either way.

A "hottest" list is a bit out of the ordinary for the Kooz Top 5, but hey, the Olympics are only every 4 years (or, really, two years).  We'll be back to your normal programming tomorrow.  Probably.  In the meantime, visit us on Facebook, and like our page while you're there!

  1. No comment. Enjoy the irony of this comment.

  2. Consider it thoroughly enjoyed.

  3. Where's Ryan Lochte? He's gotta at least be number four.

  4. You can keep him--leave me the 100 year old!
